Colonial jewel of Cuba

Trinidad was founded in 1514, and it was one of the original seven villas that Spanish Conquistador Diego Velázquez conceived.
Trinidad is a town in the province of Sancti Spíritus. Together with the nearby Valle de los Ingenios, it has been one of UNESCOs World Heritage sites since 1988.
