Isla Incahuasi

Inkawasi (Quechua, meaning “Inca house”), also Isla del Pescado is an island in the middle of Salar de Uyuni, with a rock formation that contains the remains of corals and seashells. The island is populated by a species of cactus (Trichoreus cacti) that grows up to 9 tall, at a rate of 1 centimeter per year, making them up to 900 years old.
